The Urban Health Science Initiative (UHSI) is a not-for-profit organization with the mission of eliminating the severe health disparities that exist within ethnic, minority, urban and under-served communities. We aim to achieve this goal by researching the unique environmental and biological factors that are key to reversing ailments in urban global environments. Established in July 2014, the UHSI has disseminated health science and lifestyle information to the New York Tri-state area in addition to various online communities.
